English Literature with creative writing tuition

*ABOUT

Bolster Tutor is a one-on-one tutoring course for international school students (especially those who studied under the British curriculum), with courses including A-Level, AS-Level, IGCSE and Key Stage 3 (Year 7-9).

My name is Kru Fen. I have experience in teaching the British curriculum to secondary-level students. I conduct my classes in English.

At Bolster Tutor, Individual lessons are tailored to the needs of each individual student. Topics from the syllabus are selected by the tutor though students are highly encouraged to bring their own work / syllabus from school in advance. The student will discuss their current academic experience with me, so that the course can be adjusted accordingly to meet each of their needs, in terms of what they need to improve on and what existing strengths they can further expand on.

Students have the choice to study online via Zoom or study face-to-face via meeting rooms at the selected venue, complete with screens meant for projected presentations.

I am experienced in teaching and writing, having graduated from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK with a Bachelor’s degree in “English Literature with Creative Writing” with First Class Honours (GPA 4.0). I was also awarded two Cambridge Learner Awards (Top Score in Thailand) in English Language and Literature in English in 2018 during my time as an international school student.

Because the focus of the subjects is closely tied to writing, Bolster Tutor offers extra focus on how a student may approach and refine their essay writing skills, to tackle each essay question and problem with confidence. Students will learn to incorporate their English skills, from reading to writing, not just for an exam paper but for many aspects of their life in the long term as well.

สอนติวตัวต่อตัวด้วยภาษาอังกฤษ conduct class in English โดยคุณครูคนไทยที่พูดภาษาอังกฤษแบบ Native Speaker และจบการศึกษาด้าน English Literature with Creative Writing จากประเทศอังกฤษ ด้วยคะแนนเกียรตินิยมอันดับหนึ่ง First Class Honour (GPA 4.0)

ชั้นเรียนของเรา

ชั้นเรียนของเรา มีบรรยากาศการเรียนการสอนที่เป็นกันเอง อธิบายแนะนำวิเคราะห์ และทำ Past Papers สามารถซักถามเพิ่มเติมอย่างเป็นส่วนตัว เจาะลึกรายละเอียด ซึ่งสามารถช่วยนักเรียนให้เข้าใจบทเรียนที่โรงเรียนนานาชาติได้มากขึ้น เพื่อเตรียมสอบให้ได้คะแนนดีขึ้น มีผลการสอบที่นำไปใช้สมัครเข้าเรียนต่อมหาวิทยาลัยในสหราชอาณาจักรหรือในประเทศต่างๆ และรวมถึงมหาวิทยาลัยอินเตอร์ในประเทศไทยด้วย  หรือจะเป็นการเรียนบทเรียนต่างๆล่วงหน้า เพื่อจะทำให้การเรียนที่โรงเรียนของตนมีความเข้าใจและนำไปต่อยอดได้มากขึ้น  

นอกจากนี้ Bolster Tutor  ยังมีการสอนติวสำหรับนักเรียนที่ต้องการเตรียมตัวสอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยอินเตอร์ในประเทศไทย  และสอนติวสำหรับนิสิตนักศึกษาภาคอินเตอร์ ระดับปริญญาตรี ที่ต้องการฝึกฝนการเขียน Academic Essay Writing for University เพื่อวิชาต่างๆในระดับชั้นมหาวิทยาลัยด้วย   

ชั้นเรียนทุกชั้นของเรา สามารถปรับแต่งให้เข้ากับความต้องการของผู้เรียน โดยอาจใช้เนื้อหาวิชาที่ครูผู้สอนจัดเตรียมมาให้  หรือ จะเป็น Syllabus ที่นักเรียนเจาะจงมาจากโรงเรียนก็ได้   ก่อนที่จะเริ่มต้นเรียนติวที่ Bolster Tutor  คุณครูผู้สอนจะได้พูดคุยกับนักเรียนเพื่อทราบถึงความต้องการ และประเมินลักษณะของบทเรียนที่เหมาะสม เพื่อจะปรับปรุงจุดอ่อนและสร้างเสริมจุดแข็งให้กับนักเรียนได้   ทั้งนี้การเรียนการสอน สามารถจัดเวลาตามที่นักเรียนสะดวก ในรูปแบบการเรียนแบบ on line ผ่าน Zoom หรือ การเรียนแบบ face to face ที่ Meeting Room ซึ่งทาง Bolster Tutor จัดเตรียมให้พร้อมจอ LED ในการสอน

คุณครูผู้สอน

คุณครูผู้สอน  ครูเฟ่น ( ปณิธาน ) มีประสบการณ์ในการสอน และจบการศึกษาจากประเทศอังกฤษ ในสาขาวิชา English Literature With Creative Writing ด้วยปริญญาตรีเกียรตินิยมอันดับหนึ่ง  First Class Honours (GPA 4.0) จากมหาวิทยาลัย University Of East Anglia เมือง Norwich  ซึ่งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งแรกในสหราชอาณาจักรที่เปิดสอนวิชา Creative Writing ในระดับชั้นมหาวิทยาลัย  และเมือง Norwich ยังได้รับการจัดอันดับเป็นUnesco City Of Literature อีกด้วย

คุณครูเคยได้รับรางวัล Outstanding Cambridge Learner  Awards ประเทศอังกฤษ ถึง 2 รางวัลซ้อน ( Top Score In Thailand ) ในวิชา English Language  และ วิชา Literature in English เมื่อปี 2018 ขณะที่เรียนอยู่ชั้น Sixth Form ในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ

ความโดดเด่นของ Bolster Tutor

เนื่องจากในการเรียน และ การสอบ สำหรับนักเรียนโรงเรียนนานาชาติ British Curriculum ในทุกวิชานั้น จะเกี่ยวข้องกับการเขียนคำตอบแบบอัตนัย กล่าวคือ นักเรียนต้องใช้  Essay Writing Skills ในการถ่ายทอดความคิด   ดังนั้น Bolster Tutor สามารถช่วยเพิ่มพูนทักษะการเขียนให้นักเรียนได้ เพราะคุณครูของเราจบตรงมาทางด้าน English Literature with Creative Writing   คุณครูจะมีเทคนิคพิเศษที่จะแนะนำ และช่วยเสริมสร้างนักเรียนด้านการเขียนได้อย่างยั่งยืน  คือนักเรียนสามารถนำ Reading and Writing Skills ที่ได้จากการเรียนนี้ไปใช้ต่อได้ ไม่ใช่เพียงแต่การสอบในโรงเรียนหรือมหาวิทยาลัยเท่านั้น  แต่สามารถช่วยในการสมัครงาน สัมภาษณ์หรือทำงานในอนาคตได้ด้วยอย่างแน่นอน  สิ่งนี้จะเป็น Long term Skills สำหรับนักเรียน   และการสอนติวที่ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ conduct class in English ก็เป็นข้อได้เปรียบที่นักเรียนจะได้ฝึกฝนการพูดภาษาอังกฤษตลอดเวลาเหมือนการเรียนในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ  และหากติดขัดไม่เข้าใจก็สามารถสอบถามคุณครูได้

*Message From The Tutor

I believe that the learning process should be taken at each student’s pace, to guide each of their educational journeys to suit their unique academic targets, not necessarily ones dictated by a textbook. Each student has their strong points that may not always be given the due attention they deserve in a crowded classroom. In a one-on-one setting, I aim to expand upon each of their existing strengths, to solidify their confidence in applying them to their work – as well as examining any aspects in their studies they need to improve on. Whether the student intends to apply these skills independently or to be able to keep up with the teacher’s words in-class, my lessons will give them the push they need to continue striving towards what they want to achieve with their chosen subjects.
